The initial March 29th 1982 victory at the SCG over Melbourne was a clear cause for early optimism, but it was Rounds legendary raising of the 1982 Night Premiership Cup that provided the image that many of the more sceptical fans needed in order to fully legitimise the relocation to Sydney. Round then powered into the 1983 season, which saw him becoming only the 18th player to reach 300 VFL games, with 1984 then seeing him honoured with a VFL Life Membership in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the sport.268Three original photographs of Barry Round, two of which in action on field, block mounted, the largest 510 x 610cm.
