Framed and glazed overall 39 x 49cm. Charles Bannerman (1851 - 1930) made his first-class cricket debut for New South Wales in 1871. He was considered the first of Australia’s great batsmen. A few months before he died in August 1930 he was at the Sydney Cricket Ground when Don Bradman scored 452 not out in the Sheffield Shield match against Queensland.
