20  ENGLAND IN AUSTRALIA 1920-21 An original photograph of R.M.S. Osterley by the Exchange Studios, Sydney, mounted on backing card which has been signed and titled to the left by the ENGLAND squad and to the right by the AUSTRALIA squad and the commander of the ship which had brought the English team to Australia. There are 17 English signatures and 15 Australian, including the managers of both teams. The presentation is further enhanced by the addition of the two flags in colour at top centre. Framed and glazed, overall 34.5 x 44cm. Australia won the five match Test Series 5-0, with Mailey taking 36 wickets (at 26.28) and Collins making 557 runs (at 61.89). ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������$1,000–1,500 22 21 21  AUSTRALIA IN ENGLAND: 14 July 1921 menu card for a dinner welcoming the “Australian Cricketers” at the North British Station Hotel in Edinburgh. The card is extensively autographed by the cricketers present, including Australians Armstrong (captain), Mailey, Bardsley, Ryder, Collins, Oldfield, Macartney, Andrews, Carter, Hendry, McDonald, Mayne, Pellew & Taylor. Also signed by the English cricketer Pellew, Dr.R.J. Pope, who toured with the team and the Australian Team Manager Sydney Smith Jnr. Australia played Scotland in a tour match at The Grange Cricket Club, Raeburn Place, Edinburgh on the 14th/15th July 1921.
