These are among the few coloured plates resulting from Cooks Voyages. The original drawings are in the possession of The Board of Admiralty London. The title page is dated 1808 in all copies, but the plate imprints are dated April, 1809, and the watermark dates vary widely copy by copy, apparently a feature peculiar to Boydells colour plate books (Hill).$7501,00021J.F.
