Lot 666A gold miner's brooch, crossed pick and shovel with rope and nuggets 19th century. This brooch was found by metal detector in the Maryborough district. These brooches were often made in rose gold and then plated in yellow gold to hide the jewellers soldering work, hence the tarnished finish to this piece. 5cm long, 3.8 grams
