MUHAMMAD ALI: Training trunks used by former Olympic and world heavyweight champion Cassius Clay while working out at the Columbia Street Gym in Loisville, Kentucky under the authority of trainer Joe Martin.

Purple "Everlast" trunks with gold waistband and trim, with the name "CLAY" written on bottom of Everlast label. Trunks have a label attached reading "Cassius Clay Used Training Trunks 1958". Shows wear and have a tear at manufacturer's label. Some light colour fading from ageing. From the collection of early Clay trainer Joe Martin.
