Description:
PERFORATED SMALL 'OS': 1d red Die IIA with a Major Kiss Print resulting in Doubling of the Design especially the Left Frame & South of Western Australia BW #4c, two short perfs at upper-left, 'LANG LANG/MY22/15/VIC' cds, Cat $6000. RPSofV (2009) & Chris Ceremuga (2012) Certificates. As suggested by the diagonal interruption to the printing from the 'T' of 'AUSTRALIA' to above the 'O' of 'ONE', the doubling was probably caused by the sheet of paper being retarded in the press.
First listed in the ACSC 2013 Edition, which states "Two examples punctured 'OS' representing a divided horizontal pair are known". This is the example illustrated in the ACSC.
