The message enquires about Basedow supplying half a tonne of bismuth. Italy invaded Greece on 28/10/1940. [Herbert Basedow was something of a Rennaissance Man. A medical doctor, he was also chairman of several mining companies in Central Australia. A member of major expeditions to the Northern Territory, he was also an accomplished anthropologist & staunch supporter of Australia's aborigines.
