(Ted aBeckett had fallen ill and was unavailable for selection for the fourth Test).Evidently, a souvenir from the Fourth Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, 25th - 29th July, which ended disappointingly early with only 45 minutes play on the 3rd day and no play on the 4th day because of rain. Australia had managed to get to a respectable first innings total of 345, with England at 8-251 when the match was abandoned. It was only two weeks earlier, at Headingly, that the young Don Bradman had re-written the record books, while scoring the new record Test score of 334 in Australias only innings of 566. $3,0005,000241 245241West Indies Cricket Team Australian Tour 1930-31, Shaw, Savill & Albion Coy.
