The album contains a collection of more than 100 original photographs, most with hand-written captions beneath. The subjects include the departure from Port Melbourne, stopovers in Colombo, the Suez Canal, the visit to Pompeii, scenes at Edgbaston, Headingly, Lords, Henley on the Thames, Kennington Oval, Canterbury, Brighton, individual portraits of the team members, including Bert Hopkins at the wicket, scenes in Scotland, and scenes on the trip home via Java, Malay States, Singapore (including the cricket pavilion) and Ipoh, etc. Furthermore, tipped-in on the blank inside front cover is an autograph page showing the original signatures of 12 Englishman who had visited Australia in 1907-08 for a Test Series which Australia won 4-1.
