The racquet head is a rounded triangular shape, with a transitional flat-top. At the throat, there is a solid wood convex wedge that is screwed in place. The handle has a rounded groove vertically on both faces and ends in a fishtail design. Incised with lines darkened into one side of the wedge is a demons face with the words The Demon / Trademark/Patent No.226 and on the other face the name H.B. Coney has been carved by hand.
