PRESENTED TO ALFRED SMITH Esq., by a few of his admirers in recognition of services rendered in the field. Season 1886.ALFRED SMITH (1867 - 1936) had a wonderful career at St.Kilda. In 1886, he was 19 years old when he first appeared for the club and he remained part of the team for the next eight years, during which he played 157 games and kicked 72 goals. During this period, St.Kilda was one of the leading teams in the V.F.A.
