This Godwin design was detailed and illustrated in “The Building News” May 10th, 1886 and references an older design from 1877 the “FOUR SEASONS CABINET” (now in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London) which was believed to have been exhibited at the William Watt stand at the 1878 EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE in PARIS.
