BOYS AND THEIR TOYS - IN N SCALE

by Albert Isaacs - 28/07/05

Charles Leski Auctions are proud to be handling the estate of the late Stephen Szeloczsky (1921-2004). From the 1950's to the 1970's, Mr Szeloczsky extensively purchased N Scale locos, rolling stock, track & accessories, with a view to setting up an exhibition of European Railways, mainly German. His plans never eventuated and, so, practically all of what was purchased 30 years ago remains in unopened boxes. Our Auction 269 (Wednesday 17th August 2005) contains the first group of about 100 lots to be offered – further groups from this collection will appear in a later auction. Even if European models do not interest you, you may find something amongst the large holdings of N Scale track and accessories.

The collection is significant because many of the models & accessories being offered in as new condition, have not been available, wholesale, for many years.
