By 1821 they were trading as J.& J.Solomon and prospered greatly, and were early speculators in Port Phillip): 1824 hand-written Bond of Indemnity between Benjamin Nokes and Joseph & Judas Solomon of Hobart Town for the sum of £200, with 6 signatures including Judah Solomon & Benjamin Stokes.   $100 - $200
