1877   FRANK SEDGMAN, Solid Bronze Trophy of art-deco style man, with plaque engraved "SALTA, Jubilee Year, Men's Singles Championship, Won by: F.Sedgman". Very attractive (and heavy) trophy, engraved on base "B & G, SA". [Sedgman has an impressive record with sinles titless including Wimbledon 1952; US champion 1951 & 1952; Australian champion 1949 & 1950; and many others in doubles. Played Davis Cup for Australia 1949-52, winning 25 out of 28 rubbers].  $1000 - $2000
