186 C ^ 1899-1956 group of covers, nearly all with instructional markings, incl. "CLOSED" (NSW), "MISSENT TO BRIGHTON" (Vic), boxed "IRREGULARLY/ POSTED" (Tas) "NOT ADDRESSED TO A POST OFFICE" (SA); also 1946 airmail to Switzerland with three 1/- lyrebirds issue paying postage. 187 PC 1904 & 1914 two real photo postcards, both to Austria; one from Brisbane with ½d and 1d sidefaces paying 1½d postage rate, and the other from Warwick with ½d and 1d Roos also paying the same rate. (2) $80 - $100
188 PC 1907 & 1915 two real photo postcards, both to Austria; one from WA with ½d and 1d Swans paying 1½d postage rate, and the other from NSW with ½d and 1d Roos also paying the same rate. (2) $50 - $60
189 PC 1917 (?) postcard from Sydney to Guatemala bearing KGV 1d Red. Scarce destination.  $80 - $100
190 C 1930's group incl. cover from Sydney to Chicago bearing KGV 1½d+3d tied by "Auckland NZ/Loose Letter" cds, 12 advertising covers at 1d rate with one at 3d rate (1d x3) to US. Other advertising covers at 1½d and 2d rates, and Sydney to Scotland endorsed "per S.S.Straithcaird" by Adelaide-Perth airmail and franked 8d. Good lot. (20) $150 - $200
191 C 1930's-60's group of Melbourne covers. Includes 30 KGV covers from 1934-35 with values 1d - 3d, and balance later. Many window faced with various machine markings, "paid" datestamps etc. Good lot, condition generally fine. (90) $150 - $200
192 C 1930 window faced cover Melbourne to Chelsea with instructional marking in rectangular box "MUTILATED BY STAMP CANCELLING MACHINE"; lot also includes the "ambulance" cover together with an apology and explanation memorandum from the Supintendent of Mails. Interesting.  $120 - $150
193 C 1931 Adelaide to Perth, early example of meter mail on long envelope from Elder, Smith and Co.; meter shows ad for Farm and Station requisites. Small tear on flap, but otherwise fine.  $60 - $80
194 C AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY:  1929-1990's collection of covers almost all used in Canberra, mainly modern commercial; noted some with instructional markings, others registered, incl. 1929 Canberra to Scotland with Eastlake F.C.T. registration label opt with violet h/stamp "Canberra East".
